Design Wall 27 December 2010

This is the last design wall post of the year.
On my table are 4 of 25 of 64 log cabins
These were started in September 2010 and I really hope to complete this
top before the end of March 2011.
We will have to see if I can do that!

Thanks to Judy at http://www.patchworktimes.com/ for hosting this challange
I really hope to keep up next year
Happy sewing Susan

Love the log cabins! I'm hand quilting a "dear jane" variation in those same browns, and boy are they tough to quilt through~but I love the look!

Your blocks look great!

great blocks, good luck on meeting your goal to get them done. I love the traditional red block center.

Shucks, you have almost half the blocks done. You will get it done.

Lovely blocks... are they brown or black and white? Atta girl, you keep working on them and you will get them done. Unless you are doing Bonnie Hunter's Roll, Roll, Cotton Boll mystery!

Thank you all for visiting
The colours are brown and cream and is paper foundation pieced
I think a red border will really frame it
I will not be hand quilting this
It will go on the frame

Susan, your blocks are looking great. The fabrics go together so well.

Log cabins change so much depending on the fabrics--these look modern and jazzy. Good luck on meeting your goal. Setting a deadline can really help.

Very pretty blocks! Red would make a nice frame. Looks to be quite a dramatic quilt when you get it all together!
